Paul Kearsley, Director of Business, Engineering and Major Projects is Acting CEO this week and did the honours of delivering COVID Catch up. The catch up covers the capacity limit lift for office areas, the Back to the Future sessions, Council's actions around climate change and an update on the Dandenong Wellbeing Centre project.

Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) 2021

Next week is Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) and to celebrate the Office of the Victorian Information Commission is hosting a series of free Lightning Talks designed to provide individuals with practical privacy skills. Governance highly recommends staff attend one or both of the sessions on Thursday 6 May.

Retirement Announcement

Shirley Neeson is retiring. After 28 years of service, Shirley has decided to say goodbye to CGD. Everyone is invited to a farewell afternoon tea on Tuesday 11 May.

Dog park upgrade a hit with furry friends

Council hosted an official re-opening of the updated and expanded Tirhatuan Park’s Dog off leash area on April 21. Located in Kriegal Way, Dandenong North, the expanded dog park now has a separate fenced small dog area as well as a larger off leash area that caters for all dogs and has a range of interesting and challenging activities.
