CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

OPEN SOURCE THINKING - OUT OF THE BOX!

The theme for the 2016 NEAS Conference embraces the value of shared knowledge and experience.  NEAS is seeking submissions from original thinkers who would like to contribute and challenge us through the following four streams.

  • Thought Leadership

NEAS seeks authorities on leadership in language education, to pose questions and deliver answers on issues that challenge the minds of our target audience; the owners, managers and leaders of our nation's English Language Teaching centres.

  • Pedagogic Disruption

NEAS wants to think beyond the status quo; to take risks and explore new and exciting ways of delivering language education. Innovators and inventors in ELT education welcome!

  • Collaboration Jam

The whole is usually worth more than the sum of the parts; and we are interested in showcasing partnerships that work!  Please bring your creative partnerships to the forum, and show us the benefits of collaboration

  • Intrapreneurship in ELT

You can be an entrepreneur within someone else's centre; identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.  Here is your chance to showcase your innovative marketing, administrative, technological and logistical marvels!

WHAT'S INVOLVED

We are embracing a format that mirrors that of TED Talks, and will be asking presenters to keep their powerpoint presentations to a high impact structure.  Please ensure that you let us know which of the four streams your submission relates to and why it does!

NEAS will be accepting submissions that run for a maximum of 30 minutes including Q+A.  Please email your submission (as soon as possible) to:

c.tsai@neas.org.au

NOTE:   We are passionate about hearing the stories of individuals that are influencing great change in our sector; as such only two panels submissions will accepted.

NEAS will only be offering presenters and sponsors complimentary conference attendance.
