We have grown in leaps and bounds, and it feels that every day we are launching new initiatives. We have seen a 48% growth in company membership in the last year, proof of our dedication and commitment to supporting entrepreneurs in their commercialization journey. Every day, we are getting new inquiries from health-tech entrepreneurs who want to join our community. We have a brand new team of startup enthusiasts, subject matter experts and talented business professionals with over 20 years of experience between us. Since launching our LinkedIn page in September, we have overachieved our yearly subscriber goals by more than 50%. Our Biweekly Digest is reaching more and more people and we are seeing organic growth in our community outreach activities. We have also started our “In Conversation” series of events, where we will feature community initiatives and resources through informal discussions. We have many more initiatives planned for 2022 that we can’t wait to share with you. The successes of our companies make us proud. Outbreaker Solutions started off 2021 with a pilot project with the City of Edmonton. Ruth oversubscribed their Kickstarter round and launched their eCommerce store. True Angle was a winner in Falling Walls, won the NACO Startup of the year award and moved into a brand new office. PulseMedica was a Falling Walls finalist and won Startup TNT’s Investment Summit IV. Future Fields raised their seed round, grew their team exponentially and moved into their brand new space. Medo AI also raised money and moved into their new space. Several of our early-stage entrepreneurs Tricca Technologies, Naiad Lab, WWIKY Biosciences, Click&Push Accessibility have participated in pitch competitions and community events and proudly represented the Health Hub & Accelerator. And finally, as we wind down our operations for the year, I would like to leave you with some very exciting news. The Health Hub & Accelerator is rebranding with a brand new purpose and mission. In January 2022, the Health Innovation Hub will replace the Health Hub & Accelerator as the community incubator that supports innovators and entrepreneurs working towards better human health outcomes.
