Sunbird Aloes home nursery - open day in June

The Sunbird Aloes home nursery in Randburg will have an open day again this year - on Saturday 17 June from 09h00 to 16h00 – first come, first served. On this day the usual wholesale minimum of 10 plants does not apply and anyone is welcome to browse through the nursery and pick out aloes for their garden.

The open day is preceded by an Open Week during which you can reserve a time for your visit and thus be assured of our full attention. This facility is popular with people who prefer to avoid the crowd on Saturday. Open Week time slots are 08h00, 09h30, 11h00, 14h00 and 15h30 every day from Monday to Friday 12 to 16 June. Call Leo on 082 824 6604 to reserve your time.

Aloe Dates for 2017: Gauteng

Witkoppen Wildflower Nursery

To give gardeners the opportunity to obtain some of the autumn flowering aloe cultivars that will have finished flowering by the June open day, Witkoppen Wildflower Nursery will have an Early Bird Aloe Weekend on 5,6 and 7 May.

They will have another Aloe Weekend on 28, 29 and 30 June. This is the best time to catch the late winter flowering aloes that will not yet be in flower in time for the Sunbird Aloes open day. The good news is that we will be holding prices at last year's levels.
