Lots of people give gifts of chocolate, flowers, and/or candy for Valentine's Day. And those are great presents, but we think games make the best gifts. Flowers, chocolate, and candy all get eaten, but games are the gifts that keep on giving - giving fun, that is.
And just because you're giving games, doesn't mean you can't still give the classic gifts. Chocolate and love exist as Keepers in Fluxx 5.0; flowers can be found in Nature Fluxx; and chocolate-dipped strawberries are just one of the delicacies in Just Desserts. LooneyCon is a big birthday party to celebrate Looney Labs and Fluxx's 20th birthdays! Time to play!

This year is Looney Labs' 20th Anniversary, and we're ready to PARTY! We will be bringing cake and party favors to events all over the country, so be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook events page.
But the REALLY EXCITING news is that we are going to hold the first ever LooneyCon—a weekend long convention focused entirely on Looney Labs and our fans! There will be new Looney Labs games being taught and learned, tournaments, giant pyramids, Andy vs. Everybody, unseen prototypes, in-person only events, Andy’s Parsely games, and perhaps workshops or seminars we have yet to come up with. Best of all, you’ll get to meet a community of people you might have only ever interacted with online. We will be holding this event in a hotel function space in or around College Park, Maryland, the weekend of July 22-24 (the 24th is the official birthday of Fluxx!).
To help us plan for this event and reserve the correct size venue, please take this quick survey to let us know your plans. NOTE: We will leave this survey up until the end of February. Before you take this survey, please check with your family and workplace and bank and see if you can really do this. We sure hope you can make it!

Q: Is there anything new going on with Nanofictionary?

A: I'm glad you asked! Nanofictionary is the card game of telling tiny stories. It's available as a print-on-demand title from Drive Thru Cards. But now, you can design your own card by picking your card type (Character, Setting, Problem, Resolution), uploading your own picture, and naming the card yourself. And, you can even share your card with the Nanofictionary community so others can buy one and add it to their own deck. Click here to design your own card!
