Relativity Space, a Los Angeles-based 3D-printed rocket startup, scored $500 million in Series D funding led by Tiger Global Management. New investors including Fidelity Management & Research Co., Baillie Gifford, Iconiq Capital and General Catalyst were joined by previous backers Bond, Tribe Capital, K5 Global, 3L, Playground Global and others.
Hippo, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based home-insurance provider, snagged a $350 million capital investment from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. In July, Hippo raised a $150 million Series E round at a $1.5 billion valuation from Comcast Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Fifth Wall, Horizons Ventures, Iconiq Capital, Ribbit Capital and others.
Percepto, an Israeli provider of industrial autonomous drones, raised $45 million in Series B funding. Koch Disruptive Technologies led the investment, with participation from U.S. Venture Partners, State of Mind Ventures, Atento Capital, Summit Peak Investments, Delek-US, Spider Capital and Arkin Holdings.
Well Health Inc., a Santa Barbara, Calif.- digital patient communication startup, raised $45 million in Series C funding. Lead Edge Capital led the round, which included participation from Martin Ventures, Jackson Square Ventures, Health Velocity Capital, Summation Health Ventures, Structure Capital and Freestyle Capital.
WithMe Health Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based medication guidance provider, closed a $20 million Series B round led by Omers Ventures. New investors Section 32, Shulman Ventures and MTS Ventures were joined by existing backer Oak HC/FT in the new funding. Michael Yang, managing partner at Omers Ventures, will join the company’s board.
GT Medical Technologies Inc., a Tempe, Ariz.-based developer of radiation therapy for patients with brain tumors, landed $16 million in Series B financing. MVM Partners led the round, which included support from MedTech Venture Partners and BlueStone Venture Partners.
Elevian Inc., an Allston, Mass.-based startup developing medicines with the potential to treat age-related diseases, picked up a $15 million investment. Prime Movers Lab led the round, with participation from Bold Capital Partners, For Good Ventures, Kizoo Ventures, Lauder Partners, Longevity Fund, SavEarth Fund, WTI and others. Suzanne Fletcher of Prime Movers Lab along with Dan Marshak were added to the board.
Cure Hydration, a New York-based maker of an organic, plant-based sports drink with no added sugar, was seeded with a $2.6 million investment. Lerer Hippeau led the round, which included contributions from investors including M3 Ventures and Litani Ventures.
