CVC-OEI Online Pathways Grant Update
The CVC-OEI Online Pathways grant funds activity to create online pathways for some of our CTE industry-valued certificates. Recent activity includes the following:
Division representatives are modifying course curriculum to obtain approval to teach classes with online or hybrid delivery.
Online and hybrid course section options are being built into the Fall 2020 schedule with plans to schedule more in Spring of 2021.
Consultations are being conducted with our OER Librarian/Instructional Designer, Natascha Chtena, to build online course shells using Open Educational Resources (OER)
Existing online courses are being peer reviewed using the CVC-OEI online course design rubric.

Calbright College
The California Community College system’s newest college, Calbright College is in the news. It is the newly formed California Community College (number 115), and it is totally online.
It's Time to Manage your Content
What does that mean?
Export your course content and import it into an upcoming course shell in Canvas or save it to your OneDrive to use later. This saves you from having to rebuild your entire course content every semester.
After you submit your official grades in Banner, download your Canvas gradebook and save a copy. This saves you from the loss of Canvas student grade data after the end of any given semester.
