2019 Innovative Research and Teaching Awards

Request grant dollars from $5,000—$20,000

ACMT’s Medical Toxicology Foundation anticipates awarding up to a maximum of $20,000 in 2019 to fund one or more innovative projects that support(s) MTF’s mission of advancing research and education in med tox.

New ToxIC Collaboration with NDEWS (National Drug Early Warning System) 

The first issue of the NDEWS 'ToxIC Brief' series has been published—authored by 5 ACMT members. This new collaboration will disseminate information to identify emerging drugs and drug trends seen by medical toxicologists during patient consultations and toxicology evaluations.

Why Join AMA? President's Perspective

You can help enhance the specialty of Medical Toxicology and have input on issues of importance to the specialty. We need 50 more ACMT members by year-end to maintain our participation in AMA's Specialty and Service Society. Medical Toxicology needs a formal voice in the 'house of organized medicine.'
