A note from our Executive Director, Trudy Harris:

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who volunteer and support our communities.  We truly treasure all of our nonprofits, volunteers and business partners and look forward to a wonderful holiday season!  Team Giving has had a great year so far, including some exciting news last Friday from a grant partner.  It is with great excitement we announce this challenge to strengthen our good work in the community.

Every year, Five Star Restoration & Construction completes an incredible project in our community.  Team Giving works with many volunteer groups all year round, and each year, this group stands out to us.  A locally-owned business that is like one big family, they take this opportunity each year to build their legacy: supporting those in need in our community while using their skills and teaching them to the next generation.

MORE ABOUT THE CHALLENGE FUND

A Southern Californian foundation has presented us with a unique opportunity to leverage a substantial grant for the coming year to strengthen our Northern California community.  They have offered to issue a $150,000 grant to Team Giving for 2020, if we complete the challenge by raising $35,000 from the local Sacramento community by 12/1/2019. This is an amazing opportunity: for every dollar we raise, they allocate $3 dollars.  It's a unique and wonderful opportunity and here's how you can help:

  1. Businesses can help achieve this challenge by purchasing a Social Responsibility Program package or an event sponsorship by December 1st.

  2. And friends, donations of any amount are welcome, visit teamgiving.org/donate to contribute.

Help us infuse the Sacramento region with $185,000 in support of volunteerism.  Let's achieve this challenge together!
