Management Society and Mobile Meals

Let's Celebrate Good News!

The Management Society donated over $1500 to Mobile Meals of East TN last week to support their efforts to provide meals to home-bound seniors. Members raised the money through year-long fundraising while also volunteering to cover several delivery routes each semester.

Landon Gray

What are you doing each day to stay healthy?

I’ve always been an outdoors type of person and luckily I have access to a river and several fishing spots so I have spent a lot of time outside. Aside from physical exercise that I am fortunate to get done every day, this accessibility to the river and outdoor activities allows me to stay healthy in several different aspects. Weather in Texas has been beautiful so I’ve been able to be out and about on a regular basis.

Christine Haggerty

How are you connecting with friends and family remotely?

I’ve been talking on the phone a lot more than I usually do and FaceTiming friends and family who have iPhones to stay in touch!

Katie Nicholson

What is your brightest “silver lining” from this experience?

To keep thinking positively. Whenever I start to questions things or get down about something, I overcome it by thinking with a better mindset. The more positive you are, the better your perspective on each day will be. I think about the future because I know it is going to be amazing and I am excited about what is going to come next.
