NEAS Thanks You !

Although Sydney made sure its blue skies stole the show, our thanks go to our fabulous sponsors and wonderful speakers for helping us to put on a fantastic conference.  If you missed the event and want to find out more about our sponsors and speakers, please check out the conference handbook for a small peek into how varied and diverse the expertise is that contributes to our exciting sector!   These events couldn’t go ahead without the enthusiastic support of the NEAS Board, guided by our fabulous chair - Denise Taylor!

Fundraising for NEPAL met "dollar for dollar" by ILSC

Conference goers expressed their support for Nepalese eathquake victims by giving generously through a fundraising campaign lead by NEAS quality provider, ILSC Brisbane.  Through the efforts of ILSC, student volunteers and the NEAS team, over $1,100.00 cash was collected on the first day of the event.

ILSC generously agreed to match these donations "dollar for dollar", resulting in over $2,200.00 being raised.  All funds go to Red Cross to help rebuild this devastated nation.  Thanks again !!!

NEAS' Special Guest - Sydney Harbour!

Natoori Mehrnaz (International Institute of Business and IT) and Kellie Marzol (Australian Pacfic College) joined over 170 other conference goers for a balmy evening's champagne and laughter, backlit by the lights of Sydney and our world famous harbour.

After dinner, comedian Tommy Dean had us "rolling around laughing" with his dry banter comparing American and Australian language idioms.

With nights like this it's easy to understand why people want to study English in Australia.  Why not click through to find out some more!
