2016 UFO Club

In 2015, 32 quilters registered 163 projects with the Cary Quilting Company UFO Club! 230 major steps were taken towards finishing those 163 quilts, and 65 quilts were completed! Now it's your chance to join in the fun! Dig out those old projects, enjoy hefty discounts, and get them all DONE in 2016!

Based on your feedback, we're including a "Little UFO" category this year for your smaller unfinished projects.

New this year, you should print and complete your registrations at home and bring them in to get your club card and start playing along!

In this ever-popular class with Christine, you will learn the basic skills for free motion quilting which will set the foundation for your projects being quilted by yourself! We will discuss choices for threads, needles, and quilting designs.

Beginner Paper Piecing

Come and join Rosi to learn the basics of foundation paper piecing.

This class will cover all techniques to achieve great results. At the end of class, students will receive a pattern for turning their completed blocks into a table runner.

Classroom machines are available at no charge for this class.

Migrating Geese Technique

February 18 or

February 27

10:30 - 12:30

Come in and learn a great border treatment. Using the Migrating Geese Technique sheet, Kim will help you navigate the instructions. Once you've done it you can use it for a border in your next quilt. This technique can also be used as a striped quilt by itself.

Pantie Raid!

Start stocking up, it's almost time for a Pantie Raid! In conjunction with Row by Row Experience, we will be proudly participating in this charitable new event. Simply bring in new, packaged panties, socks, bras and more for the Wake County Women's Shelter and receive a fat quarter in return! It's truly a win-win.

The pantie raid runs from January 15 - 23, so shop soon!

WCWS particularly needs larger sized items. While anything on their list will be gladly accepted, only new bras, socks, and panties will "earn" fat quarters.

It's almost our birthday!
