No Images? Click here As we enjoy the long summer evenings, socialising in the sunshine, barbecuing on the beach and camping in the great outdoors, our artists have created fresh work inspired by this energising time of the year. From publishing to packaging, these illustration projects are tailored for a range of products that celebrate spending time outdoors, and are just waiting to be snapped up. The breadth of talent and flair displayed shows exciting creative potential and I hope you find the projects as inspiring as we have. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out for a chat or to meet up for a nice cold beer in Coal Drops Yard (House of Cans is a personal favourite for design inspiration!). BRIGHT ARTISTS | BEER PACKAGING El Primo Ramón created this clever concept brand CRUNIA - a localised beer that captures the essence of Galicia, Spain. The label is designed to reflect the history of the community, highlighting the importance of the port industry. As you will see from the concept designs it has been cleverly designed to capture corunna’s deep history and personality. To create this unique craft beer brand, Georgie McAusland drew inspiration from Ancient Egyptian depictions of fruit picking, beer making and drinking. These stunning beer can designs communicate the character of this ancient style, capturing a range of activity in each, cleverly designed for the cylindrical shape of the product and are illustrated with a unique pastel colour pallet. BRIZIDA MAGRO | COOKING IN THE WILD This concept cookbook by Bridiza Magro is designed to promote simple, rustic cooking in the outdoors and delicious recipes campers can create with limited resources. Both cover options capture the honest tone and the interiors feature contemporary folk illustrations, combined with full colour photos to whet the reader's appetite for food and adventure. GEORGIE MCAUSLAND | EATING FRESH Georgie McAusland created a beautifully simplistic cookbook design, stripping it back to focus on fresh ingredients that are at the heart of great food. The soft illustrations are presented on block colour backgrounds that make them pop, creating an irresistible combination of the delicate and the deluxe. SUZANNE WASHINGTON | COOKBOOK INTERIORS In these line drawings Suzanne Washington plays with both black & white and colour patterns showing off the catch of the day. HARRIET POPHAM | VEGETABLE GARDENING WISDOM Bright artist Harriet Popham combined her passion for pattern design and illustration with her family’s farming background in the beautiful artwork for this handy gardening guide. Both delicate and striking, the designs capture the joy of vegetable gardening and the nourishment to be found in growing the food you eat.
