NEAS Almanac Vol. 1 - Some Fun Facts and Stats

An almanac is a collection of facts, figures and information and with a long history, NEAS has a few of these to share.  We'll run a few facts each week, as in many ways the NEAS Almanac is also a record of our evolving ELT sector!

Fact 1:  NEAS has 25 member centres in countries other than Australia,

Fact 2:  2015 is NEAS 25th Anniversary

Fact 3:  NEAS is the largest industry association representing quality ELT providers in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere

Fact 4:  NEAS only utilises "in-house" quality assurance assessors; eschewing outsourced arangements for a deeper and more consistent insight into quality.

NEAS' Quality Assurance Policy Updates

With over 110 ELT centres now being recognised as meeting NEAS' Quality Endorsement requirements, a number of unique issues have required revisions to existing policy.

NEAS has now updated a number of policies that relate to ELT providers' maintaining their Quality Endorsement status.  The policies can be found on the NEAS website here, and are specifically noted as including; "Appeals Against Decisions of the NEAS Accreditation (and/or Quality Endorsement) Committee" and "NEAS Accreditation / Quality Assurance Committee" and "Use of the NEAS Brand and Quality Marks (Multi Centre)"
