Pool is now Open for Summer..

The pool is now open in time for the improving weather (depending on what day it is!). Members are free to use the pool between dawn & dusk.  Remember a member can bring one guest and the $10 visitor fee is payable. Bust out the cossie's and enjoy the clear, cool waters!

We now have a pool cleaner coming in weekly so it may be closed for an hour during the day while this is happening.  On the odd occasion some other maintenance is required a sign will advise of any closure.

If you see anything that needs attending to in the Pool area please let Deb know.

As per last season the back gate is now locked, and only being used for pool maintenance purposes.  This is for safety reasons and we ask everyone to please only use the main front gate entrance to the pool.

We need a Handyman to do regular maintenance at the Club - can you help?

As advised at the AGM, Robin is no longer our 'jack of all trades' at the Club.  He is continuing to keep our Courts in great shape but all the other jobs will need to be done by a volunteer member / handyman or tradesperson.

With the age of our Clubhouse and surrounds there will continually be a long list of jobs that need attending.  These include, but not limited to: minor repairs to the Clubhouse / Court fencing / Pool area; patching/fixing non-structural problems / minor plumbing / small plaster/paint jobs  etc.

Ideally this would be a retired tradesperson who would be able to do a day at the club, on a regular monthly basis, to attend to the list of jobs.  If you are willing/interested in helping out, or know of someone who would please contact Deb for more details.

Friday or Sunday Social Update

It's that time of the year that you make the decision to return to Friday morining and/or Sunday afternoon social tennis.  If you are looking to ease back into things, then come on Friday between 9.30am - midday, and/or Sunday between 1pm - 4:30pm.  The Sunday group always enjoy drinks & nibbles afterwards.

Players should be skilled enough to play a game. If you're not quite there, contact Wes at Futures Tennis Academy, and he will get you up to speed with some lessons.

Friday Social Tennis are on Courts 7 to 10 so head down there when you arrive.

Sunday Social Tennis uses Courts 1 to 5 and therefore Courts 6 to 10 are available for family or individual members.
