NEAS Conference - May 7 & 8, 2015

The 2015 NEAS Management Conference promises to be a big one with providing a variety of professional development forums for principle administrators, academic managers, marketing directors, chief executives, teachers and instructional designers.

With the support of primary sponsor IELTS, the conference will be held at Doltone House in Sydney with pricing retained at 2014 levels to encourage attendance.

The four streams on offer include International Business, Research, Innovative Practice and Strategic Management.  NEAS is in the final throes of selecting conference speakers, after an overwhelming response which has us oversubscribed by almost 100%!

Register now to receive the early bird discount and we look forward to meeting you again in May on the shores of glorious Sydney Harbour!

NEAS Farewells Jenny Batten and welcomes Kylee Warren-Hartman!

With great sadness NEAS bids farewell to Jenny Batten who has held the role of office manager and marketing assistant since 2010, and thanks her for her quiet dedication and competence that she bought to the members.

NEAS would also like to welcome Kylee Hartman-Warren to NEAS.  Until recently the PR Officer at CISA and the Vice President of the Sydney University Postgraduate  Student’s Association, Kylee already has a strong history with NEAS after managing our social media throughout 2014.  She will be managing all aspects of the NEAS public relations and marketing portfolio.  Keep an eye for Kylee and be sure to say “Hi”!

CAMTESOL Conference

Since it began in 2005, the CamTESOL conference has included a mechanism to facilitate the exchange of ideas between local ELT leaders, managers and their counterparts in other countries. This has developed into an annual pre-conference forum where the focus has alternated between Quality Assurance (QA) and Leadership, aiming to provide a platform for the discussion and exchange of ideas and issues related to leading and managing a quality ELT centre.

From 2008 onward, this forum has been facilitated by NEAS from Australia.  NEAS has experience in the conduct of various fora for managers of English language schools, and in particular, focuses on professional development for the industry in Australia.

Format of the Forum 2015
The forum will take place on Friday, the 27th of February 2015 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at the Hotel Cambodiana.  Please click here to register: https://payments.idp.com/camtesol/Pages/Conferences/welcome.aspx
