COVID-19 community and small business relief

COVID-19 community and small business relief

We're continuing to support the Gold Coast's road to recovery through the COVID-19 impacts by implementing initiatives to protect local businesses and local jobs.

The recently announced 2021-22 $5 million relief package will benefit our community and businesses through a number of initiatives. See the full measures outlined on our website.

Buy local, play local
A $3 million 'Buy local, play local' rewards package for Gold Coast residents to support local businesses. The package will include 60,000 vouchers worth $50 (available when you spend over $100) will be available at the end of August 2021 through Destination Gold Coast. Catch the full details here.

Register, renew or update your dog registration

Register, renew or update your dog registration

Have you welcomed a new furry addition to the family, recently moved to the Gold Coast or changed your details? Registering your dog and keeping their details up-to-date is important in ensuring they are identifiable.

All dogs are required to be registered from 12 weeks of age or after 14 days of coming into the city to live. By having your canine friends details correctly registered, you're improving their chances of being safely returned if lost or found wandering.

Visit our website to register, update details or see if you're eligible for a concession. Ensure you've renewed your registration by Tuesday 31 August.
