After accolades and awards were given, acclaimed New Zealand sailor Joey Allen kicked the weekend off with his very authentic style of story delivery. Obviously, teamwork was a strong theme. Ash Pritchard set up the theme for Saturday - Keep Chiropractic simple and do it well! The elegant simplicity of chiropractic is your recipe for success. The energy that all the subsequent speakers brought to the programme was fantastic and the consistent themes throughout were absolutely 'spot on'. I heard many comments that it was great to be back at the Grand Millennium Hotel in town and I have to agree, the venue was ideal. The 'Through the Looking Glass Ball' was a feature of fantastical costume and fun with a few Mad Hatters among the crowd with lots of colour and dance. Overall, this would have to have been one of our best Lyceums. The speakers were top notch and the level of engagement from all the participants was very high. It made me very proud to be a part of such a very important community in chiropractic - The New Zealand College of Chiropractic. And don't forget to mark in your calendar now. The dates for next year's Lyceum is 13-15 September, 2019.
