Business Process Validation (BPV) Testing – Lorenzo Project
We are now entering into the next phase of the Rose Project where we will be running User Acceptance Testing. You may also have heard this referred to as ‘BPV’ (Business Process Validation Testing).
This is a very important stage in the project, for which your participation will be invaluable and key to a successful go-live in May 2017. Being involved in this work will help ensure that that the new processes, pathways, and configuration of Lorenzo are validated and fit for purpose. This is for both administrative and clinical users.
What you need to do
- Book for the BPV testing session most applicable to your job role/ work area
- Turn up on the day!
- You will be given a test script, with clear steps to follow. By following these steps, and the process for a patient moving through Lorenzo, we will test that the system meets the needs of the Trust.
The dates are available on the LMS - click here to access.

You need to ensure you have completed your online Lorenzo Foundation eLearning (LZ40 Lorenzo Foundation training). This is already available as part of your Lorenzo training course that you are enrolled for. This needs to be completed before attending your BPV session so you have a basic understanding of Lorenzo.
Other than that we just require your NSCHT role expertise, and your knowledge of your department.
