Welcome to the Fall 2020 International Edition of Haslam Headlines!

We recognize that this year, due to COVID-19, some of our international opportunities may look a little different. But whether you are at home or abroad, International Programs & Study Abroad (IPSA) is here to help you internationalize your degree!

In this edition, you will find important information related to scholarships, program deadlines, and other opportunities.

 

Submit your application today!

Tomorrow, September 30th, is the priority deadline for the HCB Virtual International Programs application. Choose from 5 unique program options including: Virtual Internships, Independent Research, Independent Study, IB Case Competition, and Area Studies courses

Spaces are limited, so be sure to apply by the priority deadline!

Study Abroad Programs, 2021

Faculty-directed Mini-term and Summer Programs through the Haslam College of Business will open soon! This year, we will be offering programs in the following locations:

Australia | Germany Mini-Term | Germany Summer | Hong Kong | Latin America | Panama | Spain | South Africa | United Kingdom

Don’t forget – the priority application deadline for these programs is November 30th!

Semester App Deadlines

If you are interested in a Spring 2021 semester abroad, application deadlines are quickly approaching, ranging from early October to the end of the month. Don’t forget – it is a requirement of your application to meet with an IPSA advisor.

Submit your favorite study abroad photos!

Calling all study abroad students! If you studied abroad during your time at UTK, we want you to submit your favorite photos to the Haslam Abroad Photo Contest! The top 3 winners will receive a Haslam Swag Bag as their prize!

The deadline to submit is Friday, October 30th at 11:59 pm.
The top 10 photos will be on display in HBB 220 on Wednesday, November 18th where students can vote for their favorite!

International Business Club connects students interested academically, professionally, and personally in international business. This semester, the IB Club is hosting an Executive Speaker Series. Join IBC virtually for the following speaker event:
