NEAS' 2016 Annual Conference dates have been confirmed!  Make sure you book yourself for the 12th and 13th May 2016,  with this year's event to be held at Doltone House at Pyrmont on Australia's famous Sydney Harbour.  You can register your attendance here!

NEAS is on Facebook!

NEAS has a number of avenues for communication with our stakeholders, and in this age of social media, our Facebook page is becoming more important.

NEAS Facebook site contains information that is a little less formal that our website and NEAS news (including pics of our team and management in all sorts of interesting situations).

We'd suggest heading on over and having a look around and if you happen to like it - please let us know!

NEAS and the "Care of Young Learners"

A growing area of interest and concern in the Australian ELT sector has been the protection and care of young learners.  This is a growing market, with the quality of care and support for students under 18 now coming under the spotlight.

To facilitate and support ELT centres in their requirement to support a world class level of duty of care, as well as mandatory reporting requirements, NEAS will be conducting a series of workshops in 2016, as well as undertaking a series of consultation sessions with the sector, on appropriate interventions to protect our most vulnerable stakeholders.

Universities light the Quality Path this Week!

NEAS is pleased to announce the addition of another Quality Endorsed University English language teaching centre to the group.  Well done to Sue Woods and the team at ACU English Language Centre North Sydney!

Another fine University ELT centre, with CQUniversity Melbourne receiving a positive NEAS Quality Assurance result in September!

IIBIT Celebrates 15th Anniversary!

NEAS congratulates IIBIT on what a fabulous Anniversary Gala evening at the Sydney Town Hall this October, and on being a quality stalwart in the ELICOS sector.

The event included a range of performances from the many cultures that IIBIT engages with through its English and other educational programmes.  Well done to Surender and team!!!
