This November we invite everyone to pick up a book and read for at least an hour a day. We have provided some sites and resources to find some great reads on our Readerspace page. Our In Conversation series continues with Sir Peter Cosgrove talking about his new book You Shouldn’t Have Joined and Mary Li will talk about her memoir Last Dance. Story Time – Now Live on Facebook!Story Time is now streamed live on Facebook every Thursday during school term. Story Time is suitable for children from birth to 6 years old and their parents/caregivers. Join us for singing, dancing, talking, rhyming and - best of all – reading!

DIY Craft to Take HomeLibrary staff have created DIY Craft kits for children using simple materials to inspire creativity and fun. Craft kits are available for children of all ages, no special tools or skills required. To find out more information about these kits and where you can get

Spring Garden Competition 2020 Council is calling all green thumbs and gardeners to enter the City of Parramatta Spring Garden Competition 2020. Entries are open now for gardens big and small. Showcase your gardening skills and you could be awarded up to $500 for your efforts. Spring into action and enter your garden by 30 November.
Parramatta Foundations Mini-Documentary SeriesImmerse yourself in Parramatta’s heritage with a 5 piece mini-documentary series, celebrating key aspects of Parramatta’s past and present, including food, pandemics, legends, foundations, and buildings. Produced by ABC Radio Sydney, the docu-series is being presented as part of the City’s Foundation Day celebrations, in lieu of a public event.
