Median Sales Price increased in August by 8.7% across the county.  Plano and McKinney showed an increase in new listings (8.6% and 7.3% respectively) but a decrease in Allen (-18%) and Frisco (-6.5%). 

10,223 preowned single-family homes sold in August through the multiple listing service. It was the third month in a row that resales in North Texas topped 10,000 — a new record, according to The Dallas Morning News.  The average price of a single-family home costing $210,000.

The demand is expected to stay high with the continued migration of people moving into this area.  And, with the recent announcement by the Federal Reserve to hold off interest rate increases, buyers will most likely continue to shop.
