know how. // RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECTSBRAINPARK RESEARCH FACILITYCLIENT: Monash University, Clayton The construction of BrainPark (the David W. Turner Research Clinic) has been one of the most engaging projects we have undertaken this year. BrainPark is an initiative of the David Winston Turner Endowment Fund, Monash Institute of Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences and Monash Biomedical Imaging. The lead researcher Murat Yücel, along with many colleagues, has managed to bring a long-term vision to fruition. Professor Yücel and his team will utilise the facilities to focus on treatment of addiction related problems. The programs created as part of the team’s vision within the new build include therapeutic virtual reality, physical exercise, meditation, non-invasive brain stimulation, and cognitive training. “BrainPark will bring transformational changes to how addictions are experienced, diagnosed and treated,” Professor Murat Yücel, Addiction Program Lead at MICCN said. “We will use neuroscience to create healthy habits, brains and lifestyles, with a focus very much on empowerment and wellness, not just illness.” (Read More) The transformed area is truly remarkable, the spaces created have a variety of finishes, but the application and complexity of the various finishes ensure the whole space speaks as one and creates a amazing lifestyle focussed environment for the patients and staff. The Neo Construct team along with Monash Buildings & Property, Architects (Splinter Group), Consultants (GHD) and many others that worked on the project are all delighted with the outcome. We are proud of our continuing collaboration with Monash University.Visit our website to view our latest projects. |
