Did you know that 160,000 plastic bags are used globally every second? And in Australia we use 1 billion coffee cups a year? It’s easy to reduce plastic use! Swap one-use plastic bags for canvas shopping bags, and use a reusable coffee cup instead of the non-recyclable takeaway cups.

Take part in Plastic Free July, the planet will thank you!

The votes have been tallied and Strathfield Library has adopted a tiger from Taronga Conservation Society Australia. Take the kids down to Strathfield Library to learn more about our Tiger as well as other animals and the important work of the Taronga Conservation Society.
