December / January Newsletter What's going on in January It has been a busy but exciting few weeks as we launched the North of England Facebook page. We are using this to bring the early years communities together by sharing good practice, news stories, and what we're up to in the local community. Please Like and Share! Introducing the Payslip Team Each month we will be introducing the members of our team and this month the focus is on the payslip team. Our payslip team Deborah and Tracey have collectively 25 years experience working for the Alliance in various roles. They have a good understanding of the Early Years sector and worked closely with a variety of providers. They supply accurate and prompt payroll services . Thank you" Stepping Stones Pre-school Try these Eco-friendly Decorations Nature is the best and most reliable art supplier you could ask for, even during the winter months. If you are lucky enough to have a wood nearby, or a tree in your outdoor area, let your little one select a tree they would like to decorate for the birds and wild animals. Low branches can be hung with homemade fat-balls, make garlands from monkey nuts and biodegradable string such as gardener’s jute (strong, fibrous thread) or twine for squirrels and birds.

Educare - Infection Prevention and Control in an Early Years Setting As the cold icy weather hits at this time of year, settings are flooded with sickness bugs, runny noses and gruffly coughs. Does this sound like your childcare setting? The University of Huddersfield EYTS programme is due to start again in September 2020 and the application process is now open.
