This Week in Melbourne!

The Quality Learning Series arrives in Melbourne this Thursday the 16th of April, at 9:30am with Practical Assessment Validation, and at 1:30pm with Technology in the Classroom.  Practical Assessment Validation will enable you to apply validation to your own assessment activities through a peer validation activity.  The afternoon session, Technology in the Classroom, is filling up fast! This interactive session will use a hands on approach to explore  practical tips and tricks to co-opt new technologies, and ways to exploit devices popular with students today. Please bring a tablet or laptop and your own wi-fi connection to get the most out of Technology in the Classroom. 

NEAS is hosting these sessions at Universal English, Level 1, Room 102, 131 Queen Street, Melbourne. 

Next Week in Perth! 

The Quality Learning Series arrives in Perth on the 23rd of April, 2015 with two sessions entitled Quality Assurance in the ELT Value Chain followed by Assessment for Learning.  Quality Assurance in the ELT Value Chain will explore ideas of understanding a service organisation as a system with inputs, transformative processes and outputs.  Assessment for Learning is an interactive workshop which reviews principles of effective assessment with a focus on formative assessment in the ESL classroom.  Perth's QLS will take place at Kaplan International English Perth, 1325 Hay Street, WEST PERTH
