Finalists Named in the 2019 SLSNSW Awards Of Excellence
A field of 185 finalists has been named in the 2019 Surf Life Saving NSW Awards of Excellence, proudly presented by Port Authority of New South Wales.
New Resuscitation Kits For Every SLSC in NSW
Beachgoers will have a safer Summer this year thanks to a $200,000 NSW Government grant to replace oxygen resuscitation kits in every SLSC.

Nipper and Lifeguard Dad Heroes in Port Stephens Family Rescue
On Saturday July 20 a woman and her two children, aged 8 and 15, were rescued by an off-duty Lifeguard after being washed off the rocks at Fingal Bay, near Port Stephens. Off-duty Australian Lifeguard Service (ALS) lifeguard, Andrew Parker, was at home when his daughter, who is a Nipper at the nearby Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club, noticed the family in the water and in distress and raised the alarm.
Beach to Bush Presenter Registrations Now Open!
The Beach to Bush program is the most significant educational initiative of Surf Life Saving and has been delivered to rural NSW schools for 25 years! We're now looking for enthusiastic volunteer lifesavers who are ready to share their passion and teach kids all about beach safety. This year we'll be travelling around Canberra, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin, Orange, Bathurst and Tamworth from 18 - 22 November. Register your interest today and teach rural communities how to safely enjoy our coastline!
