![]() Dear Neighbor, Over the summer, Lift UP was fortunate to partner with First United Methodist Church for their annual Greathouse Intern Scholarship. High school senior Jessica (they/them) worked with our Warehouse Specialist Ceci packing Delivered Food Boxes for neighbors in Northwest and Downtown Portland. “Working with Jessica was a great experience and reminder of all the members of our community who have really stepped up during this pandemic. Their desire to learn more about food insecurity in our community and ways to change the current narrative are inspiring.” Below is an interview with Jessica about their intern position. They discuss their experience working at the Lift UP warehouse at 4:45 minutes into the video.
