Things to doThe Hotham skifields are not operating, and due to limited snow cover there is no cross country skiing, toboganning or snowplay. However the Alpine National Park is open, and Hotham’s local walking trails have reopened for people living in regional Victoria. More information about our beautiful tracks and trails is on our website: https://www.mthotham.com.au/summer/on-mountain/getting-about/tracks-trails-map The Davenport precinct playground and trampoline are also open. Hotham cafes and restaurants will be providing dine-in services in line with public health measures:
As a result of the cessation of winter services, the Resort Entry fee is not being charged. However, the mandatory requirement to carry and fit diamond-pattern tyre chains if directed remains in place until otherwise advised by Vic Roads. We remind visitors that despite the warmer weather, in our alpine environment the weather can change quickly, and visitors should check forecasts and be prepared for snow and ice. Visitor servicesthe Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board (MHARMB) office is open to provide key services to visitors and the community. Contact is requested via phone or email. All visits must be pre-booked. The resort continues to maintain a skeleton Ski Patrol service but for emergencies, please call 000. Stay safeWe remind everyone that face coverings are still required for anyone over the age of 12 years whenever you leave your home, unless a lawful exception applies. In addition, groups of a maximum of 10 people are now able to meet up outdoors (this number does not include children under 12 months of age, who are exempt). Stay safe - practise good hygiene and regularly and thoroughly wash your hands. Maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others. If you feel unwell, get tested and stay home until you receive your result. Help stop the spreadWe all need to play our part to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
