Evox Therapeutics Ltd., a U.K.-based exosome therapeutics startup, scored £69.2 million ($95.4 million) in Series C financing led by Redmile Group. New investors OrbiMed and Invus also participated in the round, along with existing backers including Oxford Sciences Innovation, GV and Cowen Healthcare Investments. Chau Khuong, partner at OrbiMed, will join the company’s board.
Recogni Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based artificial-intelligence platform for autonomous vehicles, landed $48.9 million in Series B funding. WRVI Capital led the round, which included additional support from new investors Mayfield Fund, Continental and Robert Bosch Venture Capital, alongside previous backers GreatPoint Ventures, Toyota AI Ventures, BMW i Ventures, Fluxunit – Osram Ventures and DNS Capital.
Dandelion Energy, a Peekskill, N.Y.-based home geothermal startup, closed a $30 million Series B round. Breakthrough Energy Ventures led the investment, which saw participation from GV, New Enterprise Associates, Lennar Corp., Collaborative Fund, Building Ventures, Catchlight Ventures and GroundUp.
Shiprocket, a New Delhi-based ecommerce shipping services provider, snagged $27 million in Series C3 funding. Tribe Capital and March Capital co-led the round, with contributions from Bertelsmann India Investments and Rahul Mehta of DST Global.
Unybrands, which acquires and manages ecommerce brands, launched with $25 million in seed funding from Nordstar, DIA Management, Day One Ventures, Benvolio Group and others. The startup has offices in Miami Beach, London and Berlin.
Photomath, a San Mateo, Calif.-based math learning app, raised $23 million in Series B funding. Menlo Ventures led the investment, which included participation from GSV Ventures, Learn Capital, Cherubic Ventures and Goodwater Capital.
Abound, a New York-based curated wholesale marketplace connecting small business owners and independent brands, completed a $22.9 million Series A round. Lead investor Left Lane Capital was joined by RiverPark Ventures, All Iron Ventures and Red Antler in the funding.
Peak, a U.K.-based provider of decision intelligence software for businesses, fetched $21 million in Series B funding. Oxx led the round, with participation from MMC Ventures, Praetura Ventures and Arete. Oxx’s Richard Anton will join the board.
Knock Inc., a Seattle-based intelligent front office platform for multifamily property management companies, raised $20 million in growth funding. Fifth Wall led the investment, which included contributions from Madrona Venture Group, Lead Edge Capital, Second Avenue Partners and Seven Peaks Ventures. Vik Chawla, partner at Fifth Wall, will join the board.
Promise, an Oakland, Calif.-based payment technology platform, collected $20 million in Series A financing. Kapor Capital and XYZ led the round, with participation from Bronze VC, First Round Capital, 8VC, Y Combinator, Village and others.
Replit Inc., a San Francisco-based in-browser collaborative coding startup, closed a $20 million Series A round. A.Capital Ventures led the funding, and was joined by investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Reach Capital and Bloomberg Beta.
ReverseLogix Corp., a Burlingame, Calif.-based startup that manages returns, repairs and after-sales care, secured a $20 million Series A investment. Cambridge Capital led the round, with Benjamin Gordon and Matt Smalley joining the company’s board.
GameCo LLC, a Las Vegas-based maker of video game gambling machines, picked up a $13.5 million investment. Playtech and SpringOwl Asset Management led the round, which included participation from Compass Gaming Ventures. The company previously raised funding from Javelin Venture Partners, Courtside Ventures and QB1 Ventures.
AccountsIQ, a Dublin-based financial management software provider, secured a €5.8 million ($7 million) investment from Finch Capital.
