Welcome to our first eNewsletter for 2021!

On 14 February it's Library Lovers' Day, an annual celebration of everything you love about your library. Read on to find out why library staff love libraries, and how you win a Dymock's book voucher.

A new school year has started, and we have great resources just at your finger tips with homework, essay writing and a great selection of resources from Kindy to Year 12.

Library Lovers' Day

Make a date with your library, borrow books that you love, and find inspiration among the shelves. To celebrate Library Lovers' Day, we're giving you the chance to win a Dymock's book voucher! Andrew Pippos presents Lucky's (NSW Reads)

Andrew Pippos introduces his new novel Lucky's, an unforgettable Australian story about the changing fortunes of a man named Lucky, his chain of Greek cafes and the people around him. NSW Reads is a big book club, and we invite everyone to attend this author talk and read the book.

Live streaming - join story time

Join us on Facebook for live story time on Thursdays at 10.30am during school term. Each week we'll be exploring a different theme and letter of the alphabet. The story time is suitable for children from birth to 5 years of age, with a variety of stories, songs and rhymes.

Craft kits

Library staff have created DIY craft kits using simple materials to inspire creativity and fun. This month you can collect a Lunar New Year themed craft kit from Carlingford or Dundas libraries. Remember the monthly Craft Club at Parramatta Library? It's back! Collect a kit each month and email a photo of the completed craft for your chance to win a prize.
