Lifesavers Respond to Multiple Incidents and FatalitiesSurf Life Saving volunteers have been called out to assist with a number of emergencies along the NSW coast in the last week. Thank you to the members who have assisted with these incidents and all those who have remained on call and rescue ready during the off season. 2021 Sharkskin NSW IRB Season UpdateDue to the extended lockdown and ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the decision has been made to cancel the attempts to reschedule the final Premiership round. SLSNSW will channel efforts to deliver a sensational NSW Championships over 20 - 22 August at South West Rocks. 2021 NSW Pool Rescue Championships UpdateDue to the extended lockdown and ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the decision has been made to postpone the NSW Pool Rescue Championships. SLSNSW will be closely monitoring the current health situation and also any National decisions regarding the National Championships dates in order to look to reschedule the NSW Championships. More information will be published on the event page once known. Australian IRB Championships and Interstate UpdateWith recent COVID-19 outbreaks and lockdowns across several states, SLSA has made the decision to cancel the IRB Interstate Championships. The IRB Championships are scheduled to still go ahead but have been postponed to 9 - 12 September 2021. Updated information regarding the IRB Championships is now available to download from our website.

Participants will row for 24 hours between midday Saturday 14 - Sunday 15 August. There's still time to register your club and donate to help bring the suicide rate to zero. The Burley Griffin Gift - 10km Surfboat RaceRegistrations are now open for the 10km Burley Griffin Gift Surfboat Race, held 9 October 2021 on the iconic Lake Burley Griffin. Proudly supported by Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Club. Grants & Fundraising Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
