Upgrading Community Spaces

Council is currently working on 3 major projects! 100 cubic metres of concrete has been poured for the footings of the new Melville Community Hall; plumbing and excavation is underway for the Bark Huts Amenities building; and the work for the Coronation Park playground has commenced.

Keep an eye out for these exciting projects in your area!

Footpath Safety

All the footpaths throughout the Strathfield Council area have been inspected and photographed for their condition rating.

Resources are then able to be allocated to the worst areas first to ensure the footpaths are safe for our community to use .

Footpaths in Cotswold Ave, Bareena St and Hedges Ave have recently been repaired.
