Weekly update 10 August 2026

Welcome to our weekly update report. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.
BMSB Season
The 1st of September start to the BMSB season is coming up fast. At present there is no change to the current VMP standard, however, if this changes Target Evaluation will send a special update via this forum.
As always, please remember that TSW entries should be completed for cargo before arrival in New Zealand. This is particularly important for Break Bulk cargo as lack of a BACC may prevent the goods from discharging from the vessel.
Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 2 days.
On Monday 10th August, morning, the total sea freight queue stood at 122 and TET were processing lodgements due Tuesday at 3:44pm.
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 6:14hrs (previous week 1:46hrs) and for second submissions 0:39 hrs (previous week 0:46hrs).
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 1 hour.
On Monday 10th August, morning, there were 11 airfreight lodgements in the queue and TET were processing lodgements due Monday at 10:37am.
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:12 hrs (previous week 0:13 hrs) and for second submissions 0:12 hrs (previous week 0:14 hrs).
Australia queue
On Monday 10th August, morning, there were 21 Australian specific lodgements in the queue and TET were processing lodgements due Monday at 11:34am.
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:10 hrs (previous week 0:13hrs) and for second submissions 0:11 hrs (previous week 0:14hrs).
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 4:55hrs (previous week 1:57hrs) and for second submissions was 0:37hrs (previous week 0:33hrs).
