This week in Space News - SpaceX Starship blows up again, but....
The second Star Ship launch flew much further than the first one, but also suffered "Rapid Unplanned Disassembly".

The second SpaceX Starship launch happened at 12.00am last Sunday morning Sydney time. A spectacular event and the launch vehicle certainly flew much further than the first attempt, including the tricky "hot" staging when the second stage ignites while still attached to the first stage.
Unfortunately, both parts of the Starship suffered "Rapid Unplanned Disassembly" - in other words, it blew up! While this might seem like a disaster and a complete waste of time and resources, it resulted in real-world data about the vehicle that will be used for further development.
We'll be covering the SpaceX Starship program in more detail in future newsletters and touching on why it's an important part of our ever expanding journeys into space.
