Australia Day Celebrations
Strathfield Australia Day celebrations are just two days away! Join us as we welcome our newest Australians and recognise those who have made significant contributions to the local community and environmental causes. The event will consist of a citizenship ceremony and award presentation followed by a community barbeque and children’s activities at 10am.

Get Connected, Strathfield!
Have you heard? Strathfield Council is launching a free community bus ‘Strathfield Connector’ that will service residents and visitors travelling within the Strathfield area. The new community bus will run 7 days a week, every 30 minutes from 7am – 7pm.
Strathfield Sessions
The heart of Strathfield will be buzzing with toe tapping tunes on selected Saturday nights! Come and enjoy some free live music in the summer breeze at Strathfield Sessions.

Women of the Year Awards 2019
Celebrate and recognise women across NSW who make outstanding contributions to industries, communities and society. This year, finalists include young female entrepreneurs, humanitarian ambassadors and cancer researchers. A number of award categories are now open to the public for online voting until Friday 15 February 2019. So get in your votes now!

How the times have changed! In this almost unrecognisable photograph of Strathfield Park taken in 1974, a wooden playhouse is visible and was the children’s playground for Strathfield’s Generation X. The photo showing the road would appear to be Homebush Road.
