Alumnae Newsletter

This academic year, more than ever before, we have relied on the energy and resourcefulness of all our staff. In this newsletter, we focus on two of our longstanding teachers: Pam Morgan celebrates 30 years of working in the history department; and English teacher Barney Harkins reflects on his experiences of teaching at South Hampstead. All our retiring and long serving staff are considered honorary alumnae of the school in recognition of their loyal service and support over the years.

Again, our alumnae community have been contributing to every day school life in so many ways, and it was lovely to meet some of you on Zoom at our annual reunion.

I wish you all a very happy summer and hope you manage to have a holiday in some shape or form. During the autumn term, we will be holding reunions, a professional networking event and a classical music concert. We hope to see you and welcome you back at one or more of these events.

Headmistress, Victoria Bingham

Zoom reunion

On Sunday 9th May, 160 former students and staff came together for our annual alumnae reunion. This was our first ever reunion held over Zoom and we were delighted to (virtually) welcome back alumnae spanning six decades and living in 15 international locations. You can read the headmistress's speech from the event and find out who attended from your year group here.
