Hepatologists in Training (HiT) Network Meeting Tuesday 23rd June

Novotel London Excel  1300 – 1430.  

This event will take place during the DDF Conference in London and aims to help trainees get hepatology experience and to try to develop a hepatology trainee network.  For more information please click here.

BASL AGM and new BASL President announcement

President Nominations closed on Friday 19th June.  Thanks to all that voted.  The successor to Mark Hudson will be announced at the BASL ABM at DDF, Wed 24th, 2pm, ICC Capital Suite, Rooms 10 & 11.
 

BLTG Liver Transplant Meeting 8th September, London

The event will integrate the meetings previously organised by each individual transplant centre.

BASL Basic Science Retreat 30th September - 2nd October 2015

This unique meeting at Seale Hayne in Devon will offer plenty of interaction and discussion as well as a unique opportunity to foster new and lasting collaborative projects across all areas of hepatology research.

Registration fee £150.00 (includes two nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Abstracts - Submission deadline 17th July 2015.
If you would like the chance to present your latest research on one or more of the above topics please submit an abstract for review.

Submit your application for the Dame Sheila Sherlock Prize Lecture - deadline 17th July 2015.
The winner will receive free registration to the meeting and £1,000.

Submission Date: 27 June 2015.

Share your expertise on the complex aspects of end-stage liver disease at the EASL Special Conference.

Up to 50 full bursaries of €650 each will be attributed to the presenting author of the best scored abstracts. In addition, up to 50 registration bursaries will be awarded and registration fees waived.
All Bursary Recipients will receive one year free membership to EASL.
Up to 100 young investigator EASL bursaries are also on offer for Glasgow.

NIHR Clinical Research Fellow, Birmingham
Available from August 2015 to work on a clinical trial of mesenchymal stromal cells in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis in the Liver Unit in Birmingham and the Centre for Liver Research (CLR) laboratories.
