Congratulations to over 300 participants who contributed to the Strathfield National Tree Day last Sunday and planted 2,500 trees at Cooke Park! Council wish to thank sponsors Phil Gilbert Toyota and Cooks River Alliance for their support, Monchay Kitchen for providing food and Ocean Action Pod for their creative education on waterway pollution.

Keeping Kids Safe

Did you know children under 16 years of age can ride on the footpath and may also be accompanied by a supervising adult? Please remind children to always wear a helmet, keep to the left and give way to pedestrians.

The Department of Planning and Environment invite you to submit your feedback about how you use Greater Sydney’s great outdoors. The survey closes on 4 August and you could win an iPad or one of 10 x $50 EFTPOS gift cards.
