Be Local Buy Local
Council would like express sincere thanks and appreciation to those who participated in the Be Local Buy Local campaign over the last few weeks. Library & Innovation Hub Services
Did you know that the Book Locker and Home Library services have started back up again? Current library loans have been extended until Monday 6 July and items can be returned via the locker 24/7. For further information about Council’s Home Library service, please contact Library staff on 8762 0222.
Stop the Spread
It is still important to remain vigilant and do your bit to stop the spread of Covid-19 as restrictions start to ease. Practice physical distancing, wash your hands and get tested if you present any flu like symptoms. A drive through testing clinic at Bressington Park is open 7 days from 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Lodge Planning Applications Online!
All planning applications for Strathfield Council must now be lodged online via the NSW Government Planning Portal. Council's Duty Planners are available on 02 9748 9999 or council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au to provide advice and assistance.
New Sports Amenities Building
We’re pleased to announce that the construction of the new Strathfield Park amenities building is well underway! The new facility will service the local community and sporting groups who play at our much loved park. Works are scheduled to be completed in December 2020.
Community Grants Offer
Need a helping hand? Take the opportunity to submit an application for Council’s community grants! Organisations and groups that deliver programs that benefit the Strathfield community may apply for grants of up to $5,000. Applications close on Friday 31 July 2020.
