Our invaluable Office Administrator Deb is looking to other things in her life after 30 June, so we face the daunting task of finding someone who can contribute as effectively to the back-room operations of EMTC. We’ve found over many years that a club doesn’t run itself, despite the best intentions of numerous volunteers and we believe a key to our success as a club is the efficiency of the admin services we provide to members.
While Deb will stay on the Committee as Secretary, we do need someone who is looking for about 20-25 paid hours per week (hours are flexible, but we need a face at the club office most of the time) to attend to the various office tasks of membership management, general phone assistance and answering queries from prospective (and current) members, banking cash receipts, and the other organisational details that a “normal” office requires. We’ll be advertising the role, but if any members are interested or know of someone this may suit (probably living reasonably close to the club) please can you get in touch with Deb or Ralph to find out a bit more about it. Skill at tennis is not a requirement – skill at office work is!
