Principal's Message - Meaghan Cook Year 11 End of Course Examinations Next week (Week 9), we embark upon a period of senior schooling that our Year 11 students haven't experienced before - a flexible exam block. This means that students are only required to be at the campus when they have an exam. The exam timetable is your son or daughter's responsibility so they need to ensure they check the assessment calendar and know what exams they have on which days/times to avoid being late or missing exams which will incur a penalty. Attendance and AbsenteeismThe Public Attendance Act requires each student to be at school each day. If a student is unable to attend, the campus requires that you notify and confirm in writing, the absence, and its cause. This should be done immediately upon the child's return to campus. If a student is absent, parents or carers may be notified by SMS. Where a student is absent for whatever reason(s), it is compulsory for the campus to examine attendance and progress and determine whether the learning requirements have been met. Parents will be notified in advance of our concerns in this matter. Read all the latest news
