Lift Urban Portland's Monthly eNewsletter

Dear Neighbor,

One of the great things about the Adopt a Building program is the opportunity to connect neighbors in the community with each other. The team at Lease Crutcher Lewis was eager to provide services to a low-income apartment building in their community and Fairfield Apartments is a short two block walk from the LCL office. The LCL volunteer team completed their first delivery at Fairfield last week, beginning a lasting relationship with residents and providing support to their neighbors in need.

The Adopt a Building program is not only about providing food, but also reassurance that we are all part of the same community and we take care of each other.

With gratitude,

Executive Director

Executive Director Erin Goldwater

Congregation Beth Israel is hosting the annual Community Christmas Dinner on December 25 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, located in Goodman Hall in the Schnitzer Community Center. A warm meal will be provided along with hats, scarves, and other goodies. We are currently collecting donations of new hats and scarves. If you like to knit, this is a great opportunity to try out some new techniques for a great cause. Handmade items are very much appreciated!
