Dear Friends of Princeton AlumniCorps,

This spring marks a meaningful moment for Princeton AlumniCorps as we continue to celebrate our 35th Anniversary and continue advancing civic leadership across the country.

At the heart of this milestone is you, our extraordinary community of volunteers, alumni, partners, and donors. Your commitment has sustained and strengthened this work for more than three decades. During National Volunteer Month, we are especially reminded that our impact is only possible because of the generosity, time, talent, and leadership you offer.

Across our programs, we continue to see the power of this community in action. The 2025–26 Project 55 Fellows are approaching the end of their Fellowship year, marking a pivotal moment in their development as civic leaders. Through their work in communities nationwide, Fellows are driving meaningful impact while shaping their long-term commitment to service.

In parallel, the Emerging Leaders continue to nurture rising changemakers, providing opportunities to lead, connect, and contribute in ways that strengthen both local communities and the broader AlumniCorps network.

As we gather this season in celebration of AlumniCorps work and community, I hope you will join us at one of our upcoming anniversary events. On Tuesday, April 28, 2026 we will come together in Washington, D.C. at Princeton University’s SPIA rooftop penthouse, followed by our Chicago celebration on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at The Willis Tower. These moments of connection offer an opportunity to reflect on our shared impact and look ahead to what we will build together next. Let us know you're joining us by clicking through the RSVP links below.

Our 35th Anniversary events are being brought to life through the extraordinary dedication and leadership of our volunteer community. We are proud to recognize all of our volunteers whose energy and outreach have been instrumental in building momentum for this milestone year.

I am especially grateful to our Class of 1955 35th Anniversary Ambassadors, George C. S. Hackl '55 P85, Myron S. Lee '55 P87 P89, Scott McVay '55 P82 and Hella McVay h'55 P82, Ralph Nader ‘55, Alan M. Willemsen '55 P82, and J. Rogers Woolston '55, as well as our committee chairs and co-chairs, Elizabeth Perriello Rice ’90, Alison T. Gray ’88, Rebecca Deaton ’91, Kirsten Hull ’99, Lindsay Wall ’02, Scott Taylor ’75 and Courtney Taylor s’75, Yasmine Dyson (2023–2024 Emerging Leader), and Reginald Galloway ’11 (2015–2016 Emerging Leader), whose vision and partnership continue to shape and strengthen the AlumniCorps community.

I am also pleased to share our 2024-2025 Annual Report, which highlights the continued growth of our programs and the powerful impact of this community. It is a testament to what is possible when individuals come together in service of something larger than themselves.

As we celebrate this milestone year, I invite you to consider making a gift in honor of the volunteers and leaders who have shaped AlumniCorps over the past 35 years. Your support ensures we can continue to invest in the next generation of civic leaders and expand the reach of this work in the years ahead.

Thank you for being such an essential part of this community and for all the ways you continue to lead and inspire.

National Month of Recognition

At Princeton AlumniCorps, we recognize April as Arab American Heritage Month, a time to honor the history, culture, and contributions of Arab Americans across the country.

We also recognize the vital role Arab American leaders and organizations play in advancing civic engagement, strengthening communities, and expanding access to opportunity. This commitment to leadership and service is deeply connected to our own history, including founders like Ralph Nader '55, an American lawyer, political activist involved in consumer protection, environmentalism, and government reform causes, whose work has shaped generations of civic advocates.

We encourage our AlumniCorps community to explore, learn, and engage with the resources below and to take time this month to deepen understanding and connection.
