I am pleased to inform you that the School of Dentistry has recently launched a fundraising campaign titled: Dentistry for Life. This campaign supports three main areas 1) Access to Care, 2) Student Support and Wellbeing, and 3) Research and Innovation. 2018 PDC Dental and Dental Hygiene Alumni Reception If you’re heading to the Pacific Dental Conference in March, make sure to visit the School of Dentistry booth in the exhibit hall. Our book Roots: Extracted Tales from a century of Dentistry will be available to purchase for $20 and the annual alumni reception is being held March, 9. Meet our Continuing Dental Education team The School of Dentistry’s division of Continuing Dental Education (CDE) provides a variety of outstanding continuing education courses available for postgraduate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and dental laboratory technicians. SHINE Appreciation Night, March 17 On March 17, the Oil Kings will be donating $2 from each ticket sold to SHINE! These funds will be used to purchase equipment and instruments for SHINE. Sharing Smiles Day, April 14 This year on April 14, students are hoping to bring together over 200 persons with special needs for a day of oral health education and awareness. With your involvement, the students can create a memorable event. Find out how you can help. Looking for endo patients The School of Dentistry students are looking for patients requiring endodontics. This is a "win-win" situation for students and patients, as students need the hands-on clinical experience and patients receive care at a reduced fee. Straight-forward cases are the best suited.
