Come along to a free talk hosted by BirdLife on the topic of migratory shorebirds and waterbirds. Learn about how their habitats are affected by Climate Change and get some tips on identifying wetlands birds and what you can do to help. Throwback Thursday

Strathfield Park – Cottage

The photo above is an aerial shot of the cottage in Strathfield Park. From 1947, S. Begnell, a member of Council’s outdoor workforce, resided in the cottage at 11/- shillings per week and performed some oversight of the park’s activities. In 1952, Council vacated the cottage and in 1953, the cottage was removed and demolished.
