Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care

Hello and welcome,

With all the challenges that COVID has brought, it is great to see that there is some light at the end of the tunnel. The recent rise in vaccination rates have helped reduce the severity of COVID for many. Plus it is helping to pave the way to a more normal way of life. But it is not a magic bullet and it doesn't help with the myriad of challenges that you face or in some cases are exacerbated because of this pandemic. So for this month we have a range of articles that will hopefully help you through these times.

We have also selected some workshops, courses and ideas to help you in your journey in Therapeutic care.

Since, the 1st October 2021, there have been a few changes to our online self paced Foundational Training in Intensive Therapeutic Care Course. Firstly, it has been restructured so there are no integration days anymore, making the course shorter and more accessible. There is also a new registration process. Individuals can register and pay and begin the course immediately. Alternatively, organisations can buy a group booking of registrations for staff that can be used over an 18 month period. Depending on the number of individuals, an organisation intends to train, there are some great discounts that make the training very affordable. If you want to know more, visit our website here:  https://cetc.org.au/training/foundational-training-in-intensive-therapeutic-care/

Finally, if you find something missing or not covered that is important to you, just drop us a line at cetc@childhood.org.au

All the best.
