Jodie Wrigley and Craig Badings: PR Versus Advertising

Communicating in a cluttered environment is easy; ensuring you are heard - is a different story. During this session, Jodie Wrigley and Craig Badings will explore the three big questions for every organisation’s digital communication: Does your content tell a unique story? Whose needs does your content address, and does your audience care? Jodie and Craig will explain the practical steps you can take to address these.

Jodie and Craig will give their session at 12:45pm on the 8th of May.

David Larbalestier & Orlando Savage: Academic English at UTS:Insearch

During 2012, UTS:Insearch invested over 1000 employee hours in redeveloping their course materials. They have combined cutting edge e-learning principles, with tried and tested face to face pedagogy to create innovative Academic English programs. However, student engagement continued to be a challenge. During this session, David Larbalestier, the Director of Studies at UTS:Insearch, and Orlando Savage, the lead teacher and author of many of these materials, will showcase the Academic English online curriculum and will present several approaches aimed at increasing learner engagement with the new online materials.

David and Orlando will give their session at 12:45pm on the 8th of May.
