Greetings from the Dean's Office! This week marks the beginning of the fall semester, and We Are Wilkinson extends a special welcome to our new transfer and first-year students, who will soon discover why we fondly refer to Wilkinson as “the heart and soul of Chapman University.” This monthly publication highlights important happenings within the college, demonstrating the vibrancy of the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Each month, we also feature key upcoming events and Alumni achievements. This week marks the official beginning of our Engaging the World: Leading the Conversation on the Significance of Race series with the official opening of Begin/Again: Marking Black Memories, a physical and virtual art exhibit that highlights Black artists in the Escalette Permanent Collection of Art. For more details about the entire Engaging the World initiative, watch our introductory video and read our story "Words to Action: Engaging the World Series Launch" below. We look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming events.
